Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang is a narrow, high mountain valley sandwiched between the greater Himalaya to the north, and the slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang Lirung 7,246 meters (23,767ft), dominates the northern valley. Langtang was officially designated as Nepal’s first Himalayan National Park in 1976 to preserve Himalayan flora and fauna and Langtang’s unique culture.
The valley is inhabited by the Tamang people whose culture, language, dress and religious practices are more akin to those of the Tibetans than to the traditions of their Nepali cousins in the middle hills. Helambu’s rich Sherpa culture differs from the Sherpa culture of the Everest region, and this gives additional beauty to the Langtang region. Highly revered and sacred Gosainkunda Lake is the center of attraction for all visitors, but mostly for Hindu followers.

Annapurna Cricuit

Annapurna Circuit:
Since it opened as a trekking route in 1977, the Annapurna Circuit has gained a reputation as one of the most spectacular and varied treks in the world. With lush green valleys and fascinating villages, it offers impressive views of some of the highest snow-capped summits of the Himalayas.
We start at less than 1,000 m at Besisahar, and follow the Marshyangdi River that eventually leads us to the 5,416 m Thorung La Pass, the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit. Due to the difficulties inherent in crossing such a high pass, the circuit is usually trekked in a counter-clockwise direction. In traveling clockwise, the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east is too much for most people to manage in a single day. After crossing the pass the circuit now descends to Mukhtinath and through ethnic Tibetan villages of the upper Kali Gandaki River Gorge, the world’s deepest gorge.
